The weather will be relatively quiet and drier this week, with only slight chances of rain showers expected for the remainder of the week, but cooler temperatures will persist. The first system that brought rain showers and cooler air to Utah is expected to exit by midday and gradually clear out. Daytime highs will remain close to and slightly below average, with highs expected to remain in the 50’s across Northern Utah and 60’'s for Southern Utah. Another system from the desert southwest region will bring rain showers from Saturday night through Monday, which will bring significant rainfall amounts across both Southern and Northern Utah. A Freeze Warning is in effect for Eastern Box Elder County, West Desert, Sanpete/Sevier valleys, and the Western Uinta Basin from 10pm tonight until 9am Friday. The weather pattern through the end of April appears to remain active, with a series of storm systems expected to impact the region.
