A months-long investigation into an alleged sex trafficking operation out of six Albuquerque massage parlors has resulted in numerous felony charges for three family members. Yufang Bao, a 58-year-old woman, is being held on 18 felony charges related to sex trafficking and prostitution. Her husband, John Tunney, and her son, Guanxiang Wang, are also facing similar charges. The governor's New Mexico Organized Crime Commission, led by Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, found immigrant women recruited to live full-time at the parlor and perform sex acts on men or they wouldn't be paid. The financial records were found at other properties connected to the family, including a home owned by Bao and a machine used to count money.
