Manchester United's captain, Bruno Fernandes, is currently leading the team with more assists in a Premier League season than any other player. He has already done so twice and once, while Kevin De Bruyne and Cesc Fàbregas have assisted more Premier League goals than him. Fernandes still has seven games left to play and could match the record of 20 assists set by Thierry Henry in 2002-03 and be matched by de Bruyne in 2019-20. Since January of 2020 in the Premier League, he has scored 70 goals, created 67 assists, created 638 chances, and played 171 through balls, while no other United player has more than 190. He also made 1,887 passes into the final third, and won possession 1,182 times. Despite this, Manchester United has been outscored by a goal when he's not playing.
