The Baltimore area has experienced a shift from winter to summer, with record warm temperatures across the Mid-Atlantic, with temperatures reaching a record high of 85 degrees Fahrenheit and a record-breaking high of 83 in PHILLY, 84 in CHARLOTTESville. The mercury also exceeded the old record of 80 set back in 2016. However, changes are expected as a front approaches towards the Baltimore area, increasing the chance for showers and potentially triggering strong thunderstorms. The weather is expected to remain mild throughout the week, with low temperatures forecasted for the day and temperatures expected to fluctuate throughout the night. Forecasters predict that the cold front will move towards the region, bringing scattered storms and temperatures.
