Crews open multiple stream mouths to prepare for heavy rain

The Department of Facility Maintenance has opened multiple stream mouths across the island in preparation for an upcoming Kona storm. The work began at Pōkaʼi Bay and moved to the �Uluhewa Stream in Nānākuli. The preparations are also set to continue throughout the day.
