U.S. Company Taken Offline by Cyberattack as Revenge for Missile Strike on Iranian School

Iran-linked hacking group, Handala, claimed responsibility for a cyberattack against U.S. medical equipment company Stryker, claiming it was in retaliation for a U.,S. missile strike on an Iranian elementary school on the first day of the Iran War that killed at least 175 people. The cyberattack reportedly caused a global outage at Strykers, though the company claims it is over. The group also claimed to have wiped 50 terabytes of critical data. The attack is part of the ongoing cyber war between the U., Israel, and Iran, which began on February 28 and has led to the death of at least 1,800 people in both Iran and Lebanon.
