The Rangers have lost their sixth consecutive series in Seattle, with a lacklustlustre start to the season. Manager Skip Schumaker attributed the team's poor performance to the low pitch count of 85 pitches through seven innings. The team's starting pitching was also a concern, with none of the three veteran starters being able to go more than five innings. Schumacher believes that the walk and home run given up by the Mariners will be the main issue for the team.
