Canada's Postmedia, Elevation Unveil Strategic Feature Partnership

Postmedia Studios and Elevation Pictures, two of Canada's largest entertainment and media companies, have announced a strategic partnership to finance, develop and launch Canadian feature projects. The collaboration involves a collaboration between Postmedia Studios, a division of Postmedia Network Inc., and the production division of Elevation Films. The partnership will begin with Fire Weather, a feature documentary commissioned by CBC and produced by Elevation Images and Mercury Films, which will be distributed across various platforms. Postmedia is set to launch in 2024 and combines its parent company's national audience reach and data insights with new financing models to support the development, production and release of films.
