Other voices: Congress has to force the attorney general to come clean on the Epstein files

The House Oversight Committee voted 24-19 to issue a subpoena against Attorney General Pam Bondi over her handling of the Epstein files. The vote was prompted by five Republicans who voted to question Bondi under oath. However, she has refused to comply with the bipartisan law requiring the full release of the files with minimal redactions. If Bondi attempts to defy the subpoena, Congress may need to take legal action against her. This is particularly concerning for the supporters of President Donald Trump, who was a longtime pal of Epstein's and features prominently in the files.
