Oscar-winning director Ryan Coogler is set to executive produce a new Animorphs show for Disney Plus through his company Proximity Media. The series, created by KA Applegate and her husband Michael Grant, follows a group of human teenagers who are transformed into animals during a war between two alien races. The show will be produced by Cooggler's company, alongside the upcoming X-Files reboot. No release date has been announced.
