Former Florida Home Depot store manager, Mauricio Jimenez, has been arrested for allegedly providing repeat customers with unauthorized discounts that cost the company millions. Jimenez allegedly used "deliberate" and "systematic" fraud tactics on at least 4,500 separate unauthorized purchases totalling around $55 million in merchandise from December 2023 until April 2026. He could face charges of organized fraud of $50,000 or more and first-degree grand theft. His attorney, Melissa Ramos, claimed her client did not benefit from the transactions. The discounts cost the firm over $4 million and were rewarded with larger bonuses due to their higher sales.
