Thyssenkrupp extends production cut in France, blames imports

German steel company, Thyssenkrupp, has announced an extension of production at its site in Isbergues, northern France, due to a "ruinous flood of imports". The decision puts 1,200 jobs at risk in Germany and France. The company has been operating at half capacity since January and is working with the European Commission to introduce effective safeguards for workers.
