Supporters of President Trump gathered at a megachurch in Phoenix, Arizona, as he was set to headline a Turning Point USA rally to boost Republican turnout ahead of the midterm elections. The event, dubbed "Build the Red Wall," was attended by supporters who dismissed recent criticisms of the president, including over the Iran war, high oil prices, and a controversial AI-generated image he posted depicting himself as Jesus Christ. Cheryl Rosado, a 44-year-old office administrator, called the image distasteful but praised Trump's overall performance and actions in Iran. Liz Harris, a committeewoman for the Republican National Committee, also expressed her belief in Trump's plan for Iran and oil prices.
