The Guadalajara Film Festival's Co-Production Meeting program has attracted directors and producers from Spain and Latin America. The program requires projects in development across fiction, documentary and animation to have a completed screenplay and at least 20% of their financing secured. The selection committee included Peruvian filmmaker-producer Joanna Lombardi, Argentine screenwriter Juan Manuel Dartizio, creative director of content development company Real Tellers, Mexico-based Bolivian producer Gabriela Maire, and Mexican filmmaker Samuel Sosa. Among the standouts in this crop are Daniela Schneider’s “The Infinite Night,” produced by Fernanda López, Amat Escalante and Daniela Romo, and a U.S.-Mexico co-production.
