Dominican musician Tokischa's new album, Amor & Droga, was released after five years of being in the spotlight with provocative lyrics and provocative demeanor. The 30-year-old singer's debut album, which includes 17 tracks, charts her journey from a toxic relationship to a healthier life after a decade of substance abuse. She credits management issues and a lack of experience with the budget for the project, which she claims cost nearly a million dollars of Warner Music Group's money to make. The album was released in January 2021 and received co-signs from major stars like J Balvin and Rosalia. Since then, Tokisch has been releasing music and collaborating with major artists like Madonna and Diplo, and fans have been anticipating her debut LP.
