London will be hit by five major tube closures on March 7-8, affecting several busy tube services including the Piccadilly, District, Metropolitan lines, Overground, DLR and Elizabeth lines. The closures will also shut stations for sections of the Circle, Hammersmith & City and District lines. London's busiest train station, Barons Court, will have major closures, with trains only running between Acton Town and Heathrow Airport. Eastbound trains will not call at Barons court until June. Other notable closures include a special train service between High Street Kensington and Barking, and reduced train service on the entire line between the two lines on Sat and Sun Mar 8.
