BTS to headline World Cup Final halftime show with Madonna, Shakira; Hybe shares jump 7.2%

Korean boy band BTS will perform the first ever halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, alongside Madonna and Shakira. The news led to a 7.2% increase in shares for South Korea's largest K-pop agency Hybe. The announcement was shared on the World Cup's Instagram account. BTS is currently on a world tour and their 10th studio album, "Arirang", debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and has been released globally.
