President Donald Trump is reportedly considering relocating Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, to facilitate the overhaul of New York City's Penn Station beneath the arena. Supporters of the president reportedly met with him in the Oval Office and pitched the relocation last September. The White House has declined to confirm this meeting or the president's consideration of the plan. The Grand Penn Community Alliance, backed by wealthy Republican donor Thomas Klingenstein, proposed moving the Garden across the street last year to handle the redesign. The move, including the cost of moving the venue, would cost around $7.5 billion.
