A 23-year-old man was shot by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputy after allegedly pointing a shotgun at him. The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. on the 15000 block of Jackson Road. The suspect was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
