A drunk and stoned driver was found passed out in his Tesla, which was seen driving through city streets on autopilot mode. The driver was arrested after a concerned caller directed officers to the vehicle's location. The police initially did not know if the man was under the influence of alcohol or any other issue. However, they concluded that while California drivers are permitted to use assistive driving features, they still need to be conscious and not intoxicated.
