Oscar Pedrozo, a 26-year-old Silver Spring man, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide for fatally injuring 64-year old Mairi Nicola Morrison on July 16 in Kensington, Maryland. The collision occurred as Pedrozo was leaving a gas station and preparing to turn northbound onto Connecticut Avenue, where Morrison was walking. The van continued moving forward and then reversed while Morrison was still underneath it.
