A Florida woman, Eileen McGill Fox, has shared her story of being diagnosed with several types of cancers after learning that her husband of 30 years had cheated on her and developing the human papillomavirus, HPV. She was initially tested negative for HIV, gonorrhea, and syphilis after learning about her husband's affair. During a regular Pap test, she discovered she had HPV, an infection that is typically not part of conventional STD testing, which made her extremely vulnerable to different types of cancer. Despite undergoing numerous medical procedures, including a hysterectomy and part of her labia removed, she still suffers from painful laser and skin treatments due to the cancerous cells in her body.
