A 17-year-old boy has been charged with armed robbery and resisting law enforcement after allegedly attempting to rob his rideshare driver. The incident occurred when an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer spotted an SUV driving erratically and it jumped a curb, causing it to hit the back of the cop car. The driver fled and the suspect was apprehended after a police chase. The suspect allegedly held a gun to the driver and demanded that he take him to an ATM to withdraw more money.
