Oklahoma program aims to bring mental and physical health care together in clinics
Published on April 17, 2026.
A new initiative by leaders with Healthy Minds in Oklahoma aims to integrate mental and physical health care into primary care settings across the state. The initiative is supported by a $5.5 million grant from the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET), led by Dr. Shannon Dial, associate director of community initiatives. The Oklahoma Integrated Care Resource Center will be a hub for training, technical assistance and resources to help clinics adopt or expand integrated care models. The funding will be distributed over three years and reimbursed based on completed work. The long-term goal is to expand the number of clinics offering integrated care across Oklahoma, improve access, and improve patient outcomes.
