Becky Annacone, a resident of Medford, Massachusetts, is running the Boston Marathon on April 20 to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with the goal of raising $14,000. Her husband, Jimmy, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer a year ago and after his treatment, his condition worsened and he is currently working with doctors at the institute to develop a new treatment plan. Annacon is also aiming to earn a marathon six-star medal by running six races.
