Ikea's Matter-over-Thread devices have been problematic since their launch, but Samsung has announced that its SmartThings platform is now in place. The company claims to have built enhanced integrations with Ikea's scroll wheel remote, bulbs, smart plugs, and sensors for temperature, humidity, air quality, motion, water, and open doors and windows. The collaboration also involved multiple rounds of validation and implementation of a dedicated user experience within the SmartThings app.
