Police are seeking two men who invaded a home in Piedmont early Tuesday morning and assaulted a sleeping woman when she refused to comply with their demands for cash. The violent crime was interrupted by another resident returning home who found the front doors open and encountered the suspects. The suspects are described as two Black males in their early 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall, wearing gray and black hoodies. Police are urging residents to maintain safety and remain vigilant.
