The Turkish police have confirmed that a Turkish school shooter used an image referencing the U.S. mass killer, Gerard Rodger, in relation to the American mass killer who killed six college students in California in 2014. Initial findings indicate no connection to terrorism and that the incident is believed to be an individual attack. The attacker used five pistols from his police officer father in the attack, and the court has jailed his father pending trial. Additionally, 83 people across Turkey have been detained for "glorifying crime and criminals" since the school shootings.
