Former Red State Mayor Found Guilty After What Her Kids Saw Her Doing

Misty Roberts, the former mayor of DeRidder, Louisiana, has been convicted of charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile. The charges stem from a tryst at a 2024 house party that occurred at Roberts' residence. The jury was shown numerous incriminating text messages from Roberts, who admitted to the affair and had Plan B delivered to her home via DoorDash. After less than an hour of deliberation, Roberts was found guilty. She will be sentenced in April.
