A goose interrupted play during a baseball game at Wrigley Field during a game between the Cubs and Phillies. This isn't the first time an animal has interrupted play at a sporting event. Other notable incidents include a Czechoslovakian wolfdog named Nazgul running onto the homestretch of the cross-country ski course during the Winter Olympics. A squirrel emerged from behind home plate during a Yankees-Red Sox rivalry game, but managed to escape. Golfers and spectators also had a front-view experience during the 2025 PGA Championship when a snake crept onto the course.
