The Fremont Police Department will host a free event on Saturday, April 25 to help dispose of unwanted prescription drugs. The event is part of a nationwide effort to combat the opioid epidemic. The public will be asked to donate their unwanted medications to the charity. The remaining items will include pet prescription medication and tightly sealed liquid medication.
