Harley‑Davidson is recalling nearly 17,000 Softail motorcycles from the 2025-26 model years due to a potential safety issue. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has stated that a rear brake line can rub against the body control module causing a leak and loss of rear braking, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers select models including the FLHC, FXBB, FXLRS and FXLRST. Dealers will replace the damaged brake lines at no cost.
