A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for eight New Jersey counties, with more heavy rain, severe winds and potential for tornadoes. The watch is in effect for the counties of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem. An earlier tornado watch for 16 counties has expired. Over 4,000 homes and businesses remain without power due to the heavy rainfall and high winds.
