Amanda Morgan, a 39-year-old mother of two teenage children with autism, has been charged with aggravated child abuse and murder in relation to the incident. The boy died from accidental strangulation after a blanket caught around his neck. Police found signs of neglect at the home, including no air conditioning, running water, and a home infested with bugs and covered in feces.
