Maui doctor attempted murder trial: DNA evidence from bloody rock examined

Jurors in the attempted murder trial of Maui doctor Gerhardt Konig have examined DNA evidence from a bloody rock found at the crime scene. The criminalist from the Honolulu Police Department, Michelle Amorin, testified about DNA testing on the rock. The prosecution alleges that Konig repeatedly struck his wife, Arielle, with the rock, but the defense claims she started the altercation and he hit her in self defense. The evidence was also taken from Gerhardt's blood soaked t-shirt, which contained a significant blood stain and no human DNA.
