Therapy animals bring comfort, calm to seniors at local memory care community

The animals from Big Blue Firewood Farm in Kentucky were brought in to provide comfort and connection to seniors in memory care at an Ohio Anthem memory care community. The visit allowed residents to spend time with the animals, which are typically KATAHDIN, a type of hair sheep that originated in Maine and are great foragers and are not shearers. The staff noted that these moments of happiness can be particularly meaningful.
