‘Manas’ Screenwriter Camila Agustini and Elton de Almeida to Co-Pen Brazilian Drama ‘Diamonds Are Forever’

Screenwriter Camila Agustini and Elton de Almeida have joined the writing team for "Diamonds Are Forever", a Brazilian drama about a young gay man who trains as a boxer and performs as a drag queen. The film was written and directed by Pedro Jorge, whose credits include the Globoplay series "The Day My Life Changed". It follows the journey of Emilio, a 24-year-old gay man also known as the drag queen Sahara Diamante, who seeks recognition from his father, Cezão. The producers, Paideia Filmes, aim to expand the film's international co-production structure to include European co-producers and international sales agents.
