Malinda Sheffield, 65, is accused of paying for a taxi ride with fake money and then assaulting the driver after being confronted about it. She was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree assault, and theft of services. The incident occurred on March 13.
