India snub traditional venues for Border-Gavaskar Trophy

India will host Australia in a five-match series starting next year, but several of the country's traditional test venues have not been selected. Nagpur will host the first match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, followed by Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad. Kolkata, Mumbai and and Bengaluru were not allocated matches, despite being established test centres. The series will be part of a larger effort to stage one of cricket's biggest rivalries.
