Worcester man allegedly cut off GPS monitor and then robbed a bank in Pennsylvania

A Worcester man, Christopher Grannis, has been arrested for allegedly cutting off his GPS ankle monitor and driving a stolen car to Perry County, Pennsylvania, where he robbed a bank. The robbery occurred at the Pennian Bank in Howe Township, north of Harrisburg, where police say Grannis demanded $1,830 from the teller and then fled in a black sedan. Grannis is also suspected of committing a series of bank robberies in Massachusetts, leading to multiple arrests. He is being held in Perry County Prison on $500,000 bail.
