Santee, California, is set to introduce a New York-style steakhouse, The Heritage Steakhouse, this summer. The restaurant will be located on the sixth floor of the luxury senior living Lantern Crest Resort Community. The founder, Michael Grant, believes there is a strong market for a classic American steakhouse in East County, particularly among older residents. The steakhouse will feature art deco paintings, old-world brass lighting, rich mahogany, and soft, Sinatra-era jazz.
