Frank Kirkpatrick, a photographer from Las Vegas, has spent the last two years documenting the unique nature of the valley. Kirkpatrick's passion for local wildlife has grown over 15 years, most of it in Washington state. He has found it easier to find burrowing owls and more varied than expected, highlighting the variety of wildlife found in the area. He encourages others to get out into nature and share his perspective to help people understand how to keep these habitats healthy.
