Allergy season comes earlier as climate change increases pollen, allergists say

The effects of climate change have led to an earlier spring season of allergy season, with increased pollen, causing symptoms such as itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. The increase in temperature and precipitation patterns is attributed to the increase in tree blooming and rapid growth of vegetation. Dr. Neelu Tummala, an ear, nose and eye physician at New York University Langone Health, highlighted the importance of awareness of these changes.
