The start of a public phase for a $1.1 million initiative, starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, is expected to include build-outs for a community cafe, food pantry, youth programming classrooms, and hot showers for individuals experiencing homelessness. The project is being led by Darrell McDavid, the executive director of the Epicenter Community Center.
