Anne-Marie St. Germaine, a communications adviser for notable politicians, civic groups, and businesses, has died at the age of 66 from breast cancer. St.-Germaine devoted her career to providing strategic messaging and communications for clients and institutions, including politicians such as Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, former Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White and the late Cook county Board President John Stroger. She also served on several civic boards and led her own public affairs and policy practice, Terrace Strategies LLC, which included clients such as the Steppenwolf Theatre and tortilla maker El Milagro. St-Germain-Gray was born in 1960 in Chicago and studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
