The Tokyo Tech Tokyo 2026 tech conference, hosted by TechCrunch as an official media partner and hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, will be held on the ground to select a standout semifinalist from the SusHi Tech Challenge to advance to the TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 200. The conference includes four technology domains, each supported by live demonstrations, dedicated exhibit floors, and sessions featuring the individuals behind these technologies building and funding these technologies globally. TechCrunch will also be monitoring one of the most prestigious launchpads in tech. The event, which also hosted a meeting of leaders from 55 cities across five continents, is part of G-NETS (Global City Network for Sustainability), organized by theTokyo Metropolitan Government since 2022 as a multicity forum to discuss challenges such as resilience to urban climate disasters and the well-being of citizens.
