Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard early in the morning. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before first responders arrived. The identity of the victim was not disclosed.
