Cooler midweek; heavy rain in forecast

The National Weather Service has been monitoring a low-pressure system over the weekend that has resulted in some rain. This low pressure system has been acting as a part of the forecast, contributing to a cooler midweek and potentially more severe weather. The next threat of rain is expected to occur on Thursday, with temperatures expected to reach the mid-50s. The weather service has been keeping some of the coldest temperatures of the day out of reach. The forecast is also expected to be mild for the weekend, with highs expected in the 40s and 60s.
