Greg A. Micucci, a 61-year-old public adjuster from Bristol, is accused of stealing approximately $140,000 in insurance claim funds intended for nine victims and their contractors. The investigation began after a Warminster resident reported that Micucci had failed to pay contractors for repairs following a storm. His firm represented homeowners in claims against major insurers, including Allstate, Travelers, Progressive, and State Farm. While Micucci claimed the funds were in a business savings account, investigators found that the money was not properly distributed, leaving victims unable to pay for essential home repairs. The charges against Micucci include insurance fraud, theft by deception, deceptive business practices, and misappropriation of money held on behalf of another.
