Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers are set to make their debuts for Team USA at the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup qualifiers in Puerto Rico. This will be Clark's return to competitive basketball, after a hiatus from the WNBA due to injuries. The tournament will also mark the debut of Kara Lawson as Team USA's head coach, who was appointed to lead the national team through the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Natalie Nakase, Nate Tibbetts, and Stephanie White have all been named assistant coaches for the remaining games. The team has already qualified for the FIBA World Cup, which will take place in Germany from Sept. 4-13.
